Marshmellow Fridays

I dont know how Breakfast Fridays turned into Marshmellow Fridays. (probably because they closed the greasy spoon down the road, and we're too busy to go out for breakfast on Fridays now) After pizza and pop, we had a contest to see who could stuff the most marshmellows in their mouth and still say the # of mellow's they had stuffed in there.




All I know is, I was up to ... 8? when Jonvon ran into the room, grabbed 23 of them out of the bag and stuffed them all in his mouth in a matter of 10 seconds.

Lets just say it got ugly folks. Yes, 'James Dean' - aka Willy got grossed out and puked up his mellows into the nearby garbage can.

Best Caricature

In following FK's fantastic idea of doing an animation olympics, we kinda copied it and we're doing mini-events every week. ie.) Two weeks ago was the best Caricature contest. Steve C. won! Beside him you can see what Dave Mac looks like through Steve's eyes. *and he's showing off his nifty prize: A nifty 1 gig thumbdrive! (he looks different with no beard eh folks?)
I'll post the other caricatures when I get a chance to scan them all in. (with Ians help ;)

Next contest is best Halloween layout design, and also the best 2 minute short. The best 2 minute short picked will be produced by Huminah Huminah, and the creator gets to direct it!

Estrogen patches and ovarian cysts Oh My!

The building we work in used to be an old medical clinic, so there are crazy things that have been left behind, old needles, Ovarian cyst jars, and of all things a wack of estrogen patches. We stuck a few estrogen patches onto Ian, and now he just sniffles uncontrollably at his desk. Or maybe its just the revisions...?
I dont know what those same patches did to Gord, but I think it was a bad idea from the looks of it.

Hair, hair, long beautiful animators hair...

Yes, you too could have hair like this if you drink the water at Huminah Huminah. Something in the old medical clinic's pipes seems to promote hair growth!

Xbox's?! Whoa Christmas comes early.

Do you think these two could smile anymore? Its a good thing Jons hands are visable and in plain sight, he's showing entirely too much affection for this toy.

p.s. - His attitude was totally different once we played Fight Night and i beat him in every match. He was ready to throw the controller and system out the window. What he didnt know (at the time) is that the reason I was winning was my fighters had higher chin, and heart stamina. (less likely to be knocked out) Alas, now he knows and my winning days are over.

Pizza Fridays

I think i missed the sign 'Don't feed the animators'.

Below, you'll see Gord and Willy enjoying a drink and some food from Pizza Fridays at the studio. A good way to treat the crew, and put food in their bellies. I think they've gotten sick of the hotdogs everyday. I dont get requests to fill the fridge with them anymore.
